Travelling from the north-east of Scotland or the Edinburgh area via the M8 round the north side of Glasgow city centre:
- Follow the M8 around and through Glasgow city centre and continue on the M8 signed Greenock.
- Just after you pass Glasgow Airport, leave the M8 at junction 28a and join the A737 signed to Irvine.
- This will be a dual carriageway for several miles and then goes down to single carriageway.
- After about 4 miles of single carriageway you will come to a junction/roundabout.
- Turn right onto the A760 signed to Largs.
- Follow this road, passing Lochwinnoch, and continue on to the centre of Kilbirnie where you will come to a roundabout.
- Go right at the roundabout (still signed to Largs).
- After a very short distance you will come to another roundabout.
- Go left at this roundabout continuing on the A760 to Largs.
- After about 2 miles from the roundabout, and on the rise of a hill you will see a sign for a road turning off on the left, the B784 to Dalry.
- Turn left onto this road. Langside Farm is about 1½ miles down on the right-hand-side.
- After a long downhill straight there is an "S" bend that goes left then right.
- The farmhouse is on the right-hand-side just after this bend. It is the only farmhouse that is right up against the road and it has distinctive black railings along the front, so it's easy to recognise.
- When you first arrive, you can pull up onto the pavement outside. Come through the gate into the garden and ring the doorbell by the door at the right-hand-side (not the front door).
- When we have helped you in with your luggage, we will direct you to our secure parking area.
Under normal traffic conditions it takes about 35 minutes to get to the farm from the Kingston Bridge over the Clyde in Glasgow. Any problems, 'phone us on 01294-834402. Have a good journey.
