Directions to Langside Farm

Travelling from England via the M6, M74 avoiding Glasgow:

• Follow the M6 North to join the A74, this changes into the A74(M), and then into the M74.
• Leave the M74 at junction 8 and take the A71 signed to Kilmarnock.
• Follow the A71 through several small towns and villages towards Kilmarnock.
• Approaching Kilmarnock continue on the A71 now signed to Irvine.
• Continue on the A71 to the junction with the A78. At the roundabout take the 3^rd exit signed A78 Greenock.
• Leave the A78 at the next slip road at the A737 "Eglinton Interchange", signed for Kilwinning, etc.
• Take the left hand lane of the slip road and at the roundabout take the first exit signed Kilwinning, Irvine A737.
• After about 250 metres, go round the roundabout and take the exit signed A737 Kilwinning.
• Follow the A737 through the centre of Kilwinning. You will pass through a set of pedestrian lights followed by three sets of traffic lights.
• At the first set of traffic lights go straight on (you will see the James Watt College on your right at this point).
• At the second set of traffic lights go right.
• About 100 yards (metres) further on and you come to the third set of traffic lights where you go right, continuing on the A737.
• Continue along the A737 to Dalry. As you come into the 30 mph restricted area for Dalry, the A737 bends to the right.
• Continue on this road up the hill, pass through a set of pedestrian lights to a set of traffic lights.
• Turn left at the lights on to the B780 signed to Kilbirnie, Beith, Paisley, Glasgow.
• This road starts with a sweeping right-hand bend. Follow the main route towards Kilbirnie. (Do NOT take the left turn for the B780 towards West Kilbride & Ardrossan that is just after a set of pedestrian lights). You will pass the DSM (formerly Roche) pharmaceutical plant on your right at the bottom of a hill, then the Dalry Inn on your left.
• Shortly after the Dalry Inn, turn left onto the B784 signed to Largs.
• Go up the hill past the farm entrance on the right. The road then bends to the right. Continue round this bend and Langside Farm is about 400 yards (metres) further up on the left. It is the only farmhouse that is right up against the road and it has distinctive black railings along the front, so it's easy to recognise.
• When you first arrive, you can pull up onto the pavement outside. Come through the gate into the garden and ring the doorbell by the door at the right-hand-side (not the front door).
• When we have helped you in with your luggage, we will direct you to our secure parking area.

Under normal traffic conditions it takes a little over 1 hour after leaving the M74 at Junction 8. Any problems, 'phone us on 01294-834402. Have a good journey.
