The island of Ailsa Craig is well known to anyone who has been to the golf courses at Turnberry or Troon (or watched a tournament from there on television). It reaches a height of 1109 feet (338m) above sea level and it is nearly 2½ miles (4km) around the base. From here come some of the best Scottish curling stones.

Ailsa bedroom is a superbly appointed 'period' ensuite twin room. It is furnished with an exquisite Edwardian bedroom suite - a family heirloom. Like the adjacent Culzean bedroom, Ailsa has wonderful views over the Garnock Valley. Facilities include a television, alarm clock radio, a tea/coffee tray with a selection of biscuits & fresh fruit, towelling bath robes and hairdryer.

The ensuite bathroom has WC, bidet, bath with shower over, and wash hand basin with shaver point.
